And Morgan, one of the few Latter-day Saints of NASA's hyperspace transport team, knows both scriptures and the name Outer Darkness.
Morgan knows what the capsule contains. He has seen the craft land, watched it open, witnessed the end of the world--all in a terrifying dream. And so has his son, Trevor, in an identical dream.
They realize the test animal has become a vector--a carrier of unclean spirits, a superlegion of Satan's most powerful emissaries. How many evil spirits can enter the animal? Morgan hypothesizes a multiplicative factor without bounds, a factor approaching infinity.
He is the only one who can keep Quest V from touching down and unleashing its hellish contamination upon an unsuspecting world. But a mysterious Satanic cult group has come to the same realization and is determined to thwart Morgan's efforts.
