     What We Believe is a book that teaches as it entertains! Written for children ages 3 through 12, it presents a new gospel concept on each page. The principle is briefly summarized in a short poem and depicted in a drawing for the child to color. A short paragraph, written on the adult level, is also included on the page, which provides further explanation and a useful outline for the parent to use when discussing the teaching with his child.

Prophet
A prophet walks and talks with God,
A prophet leads the way.
He tells us of God's love for us,
And how to live each day.
     A prophet is a person who knows that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  This testimony or knowledge comes through personal revelation. Once a prophet has received this testimony, then he serves as a witness to Christ and the truthfulness of His gospel. He then is in a  position to gain further revelations, including those which tell of the future. Prophets and apostles are the foundation of the true church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
