Book of Mormon Stories for Little ChildrenMarjorie G. Johnson
Review Writing for children is a challenging task requiring very special talent.
It is not easy to tell a story in an interesting and exciting manner using
the limited vocabulary known to preschoolers. The task becomes even more
difficult when subject matter is historical and drawn from the scriptures.
The author must spin her tales, but must also convey messages and meanings
which subtly extend beyond the examples into the child's personal life.
Many authors try, but few succeed with the skill Marjorie Johnson has
demonstrated in Book of Mormon Stories for Little Children.
