The War to Save Our Kids--
Raising G-Rated Kids in an X-Rated World

Richard P. Lindsay

Review

This book tells of the challenges facing America's children because families are failing to function properly, and raises a critical battle cry to those who prize morality throughout the nation.

The author warns that alcohol, tobacco and other drugs are gaining a greater hold on today's young people, and that addiction to substances and the destructive behavior caused by that addiction is extensive. TV has become a pervasive schoolmaster, often portraying improper moral values, and pornography is a bottomless pit into which many are falling. The fight between free speech and morality is raging, with the advocates of immorality currently winning the battle.

Government laws and regulations are not solving the problems. the author warns that unless effective methods for dealing with these problems are developed and implemented, disastrous results will be inveitable.

The central message of the book is that winning this war to save our children means winning at home, in the schools, and in the community. Anything less will not be sufficient.

Numerous suggestions are presented as the author tells with clarity what must be done and assures his readers that the battle can still be won. It will require a commitment from adults to the youth of our nation and an implementation of correct principles in families, schools, communities and government at all levels. This book presents practical principles which, if followed, can do much to turn the tide and protect the youth of the coming generation.
